Call for Special Sessions:

Deadline for special session proposals: October 3, 2011
Notification of proposal acceptance: October 17, 2011
Submission deadline for special session papers: November 11, 2011
Notification of papers acceptance: January 6, 2012
Camera ready paper submission: February 3, 2012

Special session proposals should be submitted to Andrea Tonello tonello@uniud.it and Jingbo Guo guojb@mail.tsinghua.edu.cn.

As part of the ISPLC 2012 technical program, a limited number of special sessions will offer insight into highly topical developments in powerline communications and its applications. Each special session will consist of 5 lecture slots.

The organizing committee welcomes special session proposals, which should contain the following information:

-  A topical title for the special session;
-  A description of why and how the session will be organized (200 words); if the special session is accepted, we would like to use this information 
   on the ISPLC 2012 webpage
-  The titles, authors (plus affiliations), and abstracts (100 words each) of 4 or 5 invited papers
-  Brief biographies of the session organizer(s) and their contact information
-  Any other relevant information (special audio/visual requirements etc)

 

Papers submitted to an accepted special session still have to undergo the same standard review process as all other papers submitted to ISPLC 2012.
